£206 Raised for NHS Charity Help Them Help Us

 Yeovil Branch Manager James enrolled his children as expert sales people for a "front yard" sale of "Biscuits for Heroes" on Friday to celebrate VE Day, and to give something back to the hardworking NHS workers of the UK.

Percy’s Bakery, a long standing trading partner of Smart Recruitment have created a Non-Profit biscuit in partnership with new NHS HEROES Charity  www.helpthemhelpus.co.uk.

The product, 14 chocolate chip shortbread biscuits, is packaged and branded entirely with the Non-Profit Organisation logo.

Having received support from company directors Keith and Janet Robinson the Yeovil team had plenty of already purchased biscuits to re-sell, plus a couple of extra boxes from Percy’s Bakery.

The generous people of Street, Somerset came out for their daily exercise, keen to spend the cash that has clearly been burning a hole during the Covid crisis. With very generous donations over and above the purchase price James and his family were able to collect a fantastic total of £220 throughout the day.

A big thanks to Percy’s Bakery for a fantastic concept at a time when it is important for firms to keep trading - when they come up with innovative concepts like this it provides the chance for people to work together to give something back to the NHS Heroes that we all so admire.
