What an incredible result!

Our “Pedalling for Precious Lives” challenge reached dizzying heights last week in Yeovil! The pedal power was excellent. A total of 571 km (357 miles) and a BIG shout out to all the people who jumped on the bike and made this happen.

The week started with £495.00 being raised at the Octagon Theatre from bucket collections.

Tesco Express in Yeovil kindly hosted the static bike on Tuesday and this raised a further £309.00.

The Quedam Shopping Centre was the venue on Friday and £180.00 was raised, followed by £75.00 being raised at Nuffield Gym and a fantastic contender, Frank Suter, took part in the “Fastest Mile Challenge” and got an incredible time of 2 minutes 15 seconds!

Well done Frank and thank you to all of the venues who have helped out. So far, Yeovil has raised £1059.00 and has the bike until Thursday of this week before leaving for the next leg of the journey to Dorchester.

This week the static bike will be out in Yeovil High Street on Wednesday and Yeovil Football Club are hosting the bike on Thursday.
