Process Engineer – Up to £55,000
Crewkerne | Mon–Thurs 07:30–16:00 | Fri 08:00–13:00 | Permanent | Onsite

A global manufacturing leader is seeking a Process Engineer for its cutting-edge hydraulic valve division in Crewkerne. This is a key role focused on optimising production, enforcing lean and safety standards, and delivering continuous improvement across machining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

• Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including waste reduction and process standardisation.

• Support NPI and localisation projects, ensuring smooth transfer from design to production.

• Maintain compliance with EHS and ISO standards, assist with audits, and promote strong 5S practices.

• Provide hands-on, data-driven process engineering support using analytical tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.

• 5+ years’ experience in process or industrial engineering.

• Strong lean/CI background (e.g., Six Sigma).

• Manufacturing experience; hydraulic systems knowledge advantageous.

• Excellent data analysis and Excel skills.

• Proactive, detail-focused approach.
