Housekeeping Assistant – Yeovil Hospital – From £11.44 per hour, 37.5 hrs per week

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Yeovil Hospital, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is ideal for a fully flexible individual who can work across various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining hospital areas, including patient rooms, corridors, and communal spaces
• Sanitising restrooms and high-touch surfaces to ensure hygiene and infection control
• Emptying bins and safely disposing of waste
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces for a professional and hygienic appearance
• Adhering to strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or professional cleaning (preferable but not essential)
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control standards
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
• Full flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
