Quality Assistant – £12.80 per hour + Overtime

Location: Crewkerne
Hours: Monday – Friday
Contract: Ongoing Temporary

Are you experienced in quality control and looking for a new role? We’re hiring a Quality Assistant for a well-known manufacturing company in Crewkerne.

What You’ll Do:

•  Check and measure components, keeping records up to date
•  Help with calibrating and maintaining measurement tools
•  Keep the Metrology Lab organised and up to company standards
•  Support product and process checks during changes
•  Make sure hand-held measuring tools are properly calibrated
•  Work with the quality team to complete tasks efficiently

What You Need:

•  Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
•  Knowledge of measurement tools and techniques
•  Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel & Word)
•  Good time management in a busy workplace
•  Strong teamwork and communication skills
