Position: Electrician

Location: Sherborne

Salary: £19.41 per hour + shift allowance + excellent benefits

Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 per week (Monday to Friday, 5.45 am - 2.15 pm / 1.45 pm - 10.15 pm)

About the Company:

Our client is a leading local business with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Sherborne. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join their maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of their machinery and infrastructure.

Main Duties:

• Diagnosing and resolving faults in accordance with company protocols.
• Performing regular safety and efficiency checks on systems.
• Conducting planned maintenance inspections.
• Responding to out-of-hours call-outs.
• Posting and closing jobs from the daily protocol/job sheet.
• Undertaking routine maintenance tasks and servicing.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds electrical installation or equivalent qualification.
• Time served or equivalent experience.
• Experience in testing and inspection.
• 18^th Edition Wiring Regulations + amendments or equivalent qualification.
• Recently qualified candidates will also be considered.
